Jeremy Rygate

Jeremy Rygate joined Cirflex as a consultant in November 2011, having worked in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry since 1980. He has held many senior management roles, mainly within Engineering / Technical Sales. His speciality has been with advanced PCBs, particularly Flex, Flex-rigid and HDI circuits.


He spent 18 years with GEC Marconi managing the Front End Department before working with Stevenage Circuits for 12 years in similar roles, finally as Engineering Director. His work included Cost Estimating, Production Methods, Tooling, CAM, Design for Manufacture (DFM), Project based Technical Customer liaison, New Product / Process Introduction (NPI), Cost Reduction exercises.


A member of the Institute of Circuit Technology, he has presented several papers including “Some Dos and Don’ts of PCB Design”, “New PCB Technologies and Flex-Rigid manufacture” and “Manufacturing PCBs with Stretchable Materials”.
